Candice has been in the field of veterinary medicine since 2001, with most of those years spent as a credentialed veterinary technician. Candice and Julie have worked together for a lot of their careers, and Candice is appreciative of Julie’s long-term mentorship.
Having played competitive soccer most of her life, earning both an athletic and academic scholarship at a Division I college, Candice learned from a young age the true meaning of sacrifice, perseverance, and teamwork. She is a natural leader, and she brings refined servant leadership skills to every team she’s a part of, including PracticeMoxie!
After obtaining her certification in 2005, Candice spent several years working in general practice before stepping out of her comfort zone in 2009 and to work in a large specialty and referral hospital. As part of the specialty surgery and internal medicine teams, Candice achieved a new level of professional and personal growth.
Second to her husband and two children, Candice’s greatest passion is helping technicians flourish. Candice loves working with teams who have a great desire to learn and grow within the field, because these are things that she herself is dedicated to.
